D50 have a lot of parameters so, the D50pg are taylored for intuitive and compact manage.

Some parameters are inteligent to simplify operation of your D50, nevertheless itīs a sofisticated device and need some learning curve.

Keep in mind this recommendations :

Envelopes are simplified.

D50pg will put your patch automaticaly in whole mode.

Remember, filter donīt affect samples.

The most important knob "Part ALL/Solo" is replicated twice for better management.

"Part All/Solo" knob selects wich part you are editing ( when itīs in solo position). When it is in All position you can mix the volumes off all parts with the apropiate knobs.

Roland D50 not respond in real time, you need to retrigger the note to catch the modified parameter.
